I don't know what the models use but I always find the following things to really improve my skin and leave it fresh and dewy looking:
Exercise
Plenty of water and fruit and veg
Take of make up every night.
I use a cream cleanser at night and a scrub every morning.
Use an intensive moisturiser before bed, really massaging it in to the the blood flowing. I normally spend about 10-15 minutes massaging it into my face
Sleep! The most important. You can't expect your skin to look fresh if your not getting enough sleep.
Less alcohol and processed food.
