^ ok i've done this before so i can help a bit. i'm also very pale with dark hair and dark eyes, and i think that emphasizes it. when you do it, keep the rest of your face looking really clean, so just mascara really, maybe powder if you wear that and sometimes pencil eyeliner on the top inner rim is nice. also, so you don't look as shocking the first time use red gloss because it's less obvious and more flattering/young.

and haute i think you can do a less obvious version during the day, i'd also use lip gloss i think.

and when you feel brave, change to lipstick! Very Happy

Since I went to lunch a few days ago and this girl looked so awesome!

She had on strong red lipstick, black skinny jeans, white tshirt, black Lanvin cone heels, huge Lanvin sunglsases, and her hair was all tossled

i know this is an old post but I wanted to know how can you tell if a red lipstick has got a blue hue in it? I'd love to try red lipstick but I have no idea what colour to go for.

ive got dark hair, hazel eyes and quite tanned skin. my lips arent very full but i use mac satin red, B48. it makes my lips look bigger and i love it. but its quite the statement!

A friend of mine (she's a make-up artist) told me that the MAC Russian Red lipstick is better for brunettes...it has a blue hue in it and it's the one that Dita von teese uses. For blonde girls she thinks it's better the Ruby Woo!

Hope it's helpful...dunno if you like Mac but that's what she told me cause I love red lipstick too Smile
