i have to say the only time i have tried red lips is on halloween, and when i was 5 and playing dress up...this is mostly because i'm completely afraid that it will look horrible on me. so can anyyone post some pics of stars who wear it well...

it could be full on lipstick or lipstain or lipgloss. sunny

I think the best way is to leave the eyes very natural...or maybe neutral tones, bronze and creamy base with a line of gel eyeliner! hope that helps!

I haven't done red lips in a long time!....I tried something by kiehl's and it came in a little tub, it was the prettiest shade of a merlot-tinted red, it looked a lot like jessica alba's color above...

I wear red lips a few times a week. If you want a less 'strong' red color, I suggest Benefit Benetint lipbalm...and it smells like red roses. I'm obsessed!

Oh, and I think Red lips look great on MK and Ashley. Christina Aguilera too, even though she's a bit trashy in my opinion.

love some of the mka ones above! when i do red lips i use a chanel lipstick (sorry i can't remember the name!) with nothing else other than black mascara and sometimes black pencil eyeliner on the inner top rim of my eyes.

why exactly do you think that? if you think it looks too strong maybe you could try a red lip gloss? the colour looks more *sheer* (i think that's the right word)

I've never tried red lips, because i'm quite pale and i'm afraid the effect would be horrible..maybe i should try when i'll get tanned..

I've always wanted to do red lips but i now i'll look like crap.... First of all because i'm quite pale and also, because my lips are quite full-. And i personally like red with fine lips better
