| | i tan so fast its crazy, i will be out in 20 degree heat and my freckles will come out and i will have sunglasses and strap marks! i dont usually need to wear sunscreen as my skin doesnt really burn unless its like 35 degrees and im in direct sunlight lol but i do to be safe so i use any lancaster or biotherm as they are special SPF skinscare brands unlike lancome, clarins etc. i start off with 8 then work down to about 4 or 2 in the last week of a holiday. im prob gonna look like my leather fendi spy when im 40 lol. x |

| Mhm, I'm against tanning with oil and the mega tan "i've been deep fried" look. But in reality any SPF above 30 is the same as 30, so get and SPF 30 with UVA/UVB protection and if you burn, don't tan when the sun is strongest- 12-4. I like tanning in small quantities like an hour here and hour there. I don't burn so I cant really relate, and it takes me awhile to get tan even if I'm pale.
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but tanning and burning can result in wrinkles within 10 years and sometimes it can lead to skin cancer. So be careful tanning. (Ah, sorry my mum worked in cancer awareness when I was little, this is drilled into me) |

| | omg i have the same problem! i'm naturally very pale (people told me i look like i've been ill w/ which is a bit worrying) it really depends how much you use normally - i mean, i would go maybe 10 factors down, but keep applying a thing layer regularly. i also get this clinique moisturiser which has an spf for my face ( think it's about 10) so it gets a little brown too. |

I do the same: factor 15 for the first week, sometimes for the second, too; then factor 8 or less.. I'm naturally very pale but this works for me: i don't burn and i get tanned quickly |

| i'm very pale, i always burn easily, but im not self conscious of it most of the time because i'm from a very cold area of the u.s. and most people aren't tan.
some times it sucks because there have been times that i spent sooo much time outside in the summer that i actually built a natural tan and i love how it looks with my blonde hair and green eyes but it's sooo bad for my skin! especially since i always got the darkest tans when i was younger. lots of unprotected sun exposure when you're young is a risk factor for getting skin cancer later in life
i've done self tanner before (my bf makes fun of me for it) but it doesn't look the same! i wish i could tan without burning first. i just have to accept that i'm pale and tanning is unhealthy so i shouldn't do it. sorry i have no clue what you should do, mei.li.lacy! |

| I suggest SUNLESS TANINNG. I smoke so I already fear them in the future. Do not over do it, and you can look so great and healthy. _________________ http://theworldisourrunway.blogspot.com/ |
