Woohoo first beauty thread!

this is great for someone like me who buys so much make-up all the time ...

anyhow. first question i have: who can recommend me a good brand of nail varnish? some fresh colour ideas would also be great for spring and summer, as i always paint my nails red or black.

well i have used so many diff kinds, atm i've got:

nails inc
china glaze
opi
chanel

there all pretty good, i think aslong as you use a good quality top coat then it doesn't matter if the brand underneath isn't that great.
as for colours i can't really help too much, i always switch between black, dark grey, navy blue, purple, dark red and bright red. i was tempted to buy some bright pink to wear with an all black outfit the other day, so you could try that x

i really want to break the cycle of always wearing black or red, but it's surprisingly hard! i've never heard of china glaze before, i might try that. i also like the sound of purple a lot, or maybe a cute pink ...

chanel also has this white nail varnish, and i was wondering if anyone thought it would actually look nice to have your entire nail painted white?

china glaze is good, they used to use it in the salon i worked in so i got loads of them really cheap. jessica is another good brand but theres a certain way to put it on.
i know what you mean, i'm stuck in the cycle of the same colours but i can't help it! i've had all white nail varnish before and it looks good aslong as its put on well or it can look abit tacky! x

I just bought a cute bright pink which i love, will make my dark outfits more summery. Think pink looks great when u wear all black

I use to wear red nail polish too! I just bought a very pink one and I wanted an orange, try those color!
