I really love this silk cardigan, it's £269.15 from Netaporter which is quite alot for a cardigan (to me) but I think it's probably a good investment piece as it's classic and shouldn't ever go out of style. The only thing I'm unsure on is how to wear it, I was thinking just black skinny jeans and sheer tees with ankle boots but I don't know, any thoughts?

^ Thats gorgeous! I would wear it exactly as you said over a casual tee with skinnies and ankles boots or heals. You could also throw it over a simple LBD with heels and maybe tights for a more dressy approach

wow it's absolutely gorgeous and so versatile.. you could wear it with a lot.. you could do casual in skinny.. killer heels and a sheer top underneath.. or you could wear it on more dressier occasions with a simple black dress.. to dress it up. you could we ar it over a bandage skirt with tights heels.. its so lovely..

I like it! The lace is beautiful! I'd wear it with a simple LBD and booties to toughen it up or maybe with a simple black shirt, loose shorts with tights underneath, and boots/booties

I personally feel that it is a huge amount of money to spend on something like this and believe that it is only worth spending such money on real wardrobe staples. Especially at your age, this is a crazy amount of money to spend when you could probably pick up a replica from Zara etc... :-)

I ended up not getting it but I know what you mean, it is alot of money as I'm a student but if I fall in love with something I usually end up getting it because I can't stop thinking about it lol.

I'm a nightmare like that too, but do love a bargain, so like to find siimilar things in cheaper places it's always much more satisfying in the long run. Plus you may find a vintage styled one in a vintage shop for much less :-)

Yeah you are totally right, sometimes it's annoying seeing something amazing but knowing their will be a nicer vintage version somewhere but I'm too fickle to wait lol. Thats one part of vintage shopping I love and hate.
