They won't be less than $500 I don't think, because even though they will be produced by Steve Madden, they will only be sold at high end boutiques(according to popsugar.com)

Either way as much as I love the row, I'm sick of paying $300 for a shirt, esp. with the economy as is...just ranting I don't understand why they can't just be sold at steve madden store and be less than $200....I mean if they were made by CL or another fashion house, I could understand, but Steve Madden shoes don't have the best track record for being "quality" shoes. Razz

Sometimes I don't think MK and ash know who their target audience is...

omg! if they're going to be over $500 then i can't afford them!! Crying or Very sad

that makes me sad because i feel like i'm still young enough to get away with wearing really daring things (i'm only 21!) and i want to because i looove fashion and i would definately wear any shoes mk&a design because i love their style, but i'm still a student and i don't have enough money to spend hundreds on single items!

This might seem like it’s coming out of nowhere but I just want to say that i'm so sick of the attitudes some girls have, like about things having to be really really expensive to be nice. that's totally not true! I’ve always thought that fashion is all about statements anyway, so even if you can't afford to wear top-of-the-notch quality pieces that show the designer’s point of view, it doesn’t mean your outfit can’t be nice or show a point of view! Sometimes being poor just means you have to be a little more creative!

I really hope mk&a aren’t thinking that they need to sell their items at really high prices to be taken seriously as designers!! I always loved that their style is so different from people like paris hilton. the ‘bag lady chic’ look says that they don’t necessarily wear things to be considered popular by bratty rich girls!
I don’t want to think of them becoming like those annoying stuck-up girls who consider fashion to be more of a source of gossip or wealthy-ness contest than something that interests and moves people.
