The Wackness Premiere - We Speak to Olivia Thirlby
We headed down to the Curzon Soho cinema in London last night to join our competition winners on the red carpet for the premiere of The Wackness (hope you all had fun guys!).



Unfortunately, Mary-Kate Olsen was unable to make it, but we were treated to the lovely Olivia Thirlby (pictured with director Jonathan Levine at last night's premiere above and Mary-Kate below), who stars alongside MK in the film. Sweeping in to the premiere in a gorgeous black dress by Miu Miu with black tights and her own Tara Subkoff shoes (is there anyone not wearing head-to-toe black at the mo?), we managed to grab a quick chat with the actress between all the papping and posing.

Of course, talk quickly turned to Mary-Kate, and speaking of her super-famous co-star (and, it turns out, her own personal style icon), Olivia said "I love her style; it's eclectic and unique. The most important thing about her is that she always seems comfortable no matter what she's wearing. In truth, I really can't dress like Mary-Kate; I'm not nearly cool enough!"

We naturally beg to differ, but how then would she describe her own personal style? "It changes on a regular basis" she told us. "I really like to be comfortable and I wear mostly vintage. It's like...grandma meets punk rocker". But it's not all dressed down for the beauty - recalling her favourite red carpet outfit she said "my Oscar dress was really special to me [pictured below]. It was Vera Wang and the first gown I've ever worn".

And finally, when faced with the toughest question a girl will ever have to answer - "shoes or bags?" - the usual picture of composure came apart a little. "Hmm, shoes or bags? Shoes. No, bags. No, shoes! Oh, that's an impossible question, I can't answer that!"

Truly a girl we can relate to.
