yesterday was black friday here in the usa so i bought:
-3 pairs of jeans (in pretty expensive -$75 or so- department store brands)
-a professional quality fabric steamer (it's so much gentler on clothes than ironing!)
-a cute photo album
-a mat with lots of measurements and lines drawn on it, i'm going to use it to help me cut stationary straighter
-more stationary
-a tablet of paper you can use water colors on
-a pair of plain but nice dark silver ballet flats that actually have a 1 inch hidden wedge
-spools and spools of ribbon
- 2 pairs of tights (one black with little flecks of a rainbow of colors and one black lace)

all for $150!

for those of you who may not know, the day after thanksgiving is the BEST day for shopping in the usa. stores open early and have really great deals for the first people in line. i woke up at 4am to shop with my sisters, then we ended up meeting up with our aunt and shopping with her too. i shopped for 7 hours straight yesterday!!!
